On September 5 and 6, 2024, 39 people, including graduate students and faculty members from Kyutech (Kyushu Institute of Technology), faculty members and students from APU (Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University), and Iizuka City Hall staff, learned together using ERP (SAP, Germany) management simulation. This was part of a tripartite cooperation agreement between APU, Iizuka City and Kyutech. Kyutech is also a member of the SAP University Alliance.

Eight teams competed to see how much profit they could generate by purchasing, pricing, promoting, and selling six different products using a company's ERP system. In the end, the student team that adopted a strategy of gradually keeping its product slightly lower in price than the others won the competition and experienced the low-cost competition of commoditization. As a result, they understood the need for innovation and an ERP that would allow them to see different data in real time. Reflection reports show that they understood the transformation of each other's thinking and behavior in the diverse learning experience.
